Enough of them may come to realize that passing legislation they regard as flawed would be better than going home to the voters having achieved nothing. So Bush could have an immigration reform signing ceremony to look forward to in the fall.

There is absolutely no evidence that the Republican voters will get mad about anything, but a failure to secure our borders. This snow job that amounts to special priveliges for lawbreakers including felons is a giant travesty. No one will enforce this law any better than the last -Those who do not seek a North American Community will seek other avenues than the GOP to vent their grievences. November will be fun - but this betrayal will take decades to get over -just as the Dems are still stuck in VietNam, the pubbies will be known as the border betrayal party..
