Maybe The Tide Is Starting to Turn?

It's too early to get too excited but it seems some Muslim voices are being raised against islamofascist terrorism. At last. (HT: InstaPundit.)

UPDATE: See Ralph Kostant's comment below this post for added perspective on just how tiny are these apparent steps in the right direction.

Two observations:
(1) The actual full quote from Al Jazeera that so impressed InstaPundit was "With recent attacks on London and then Egypt, in which dozens of innocent civilians lost their lives, it seems that the world is facing one threat, the threat of 'terrorism', it is not coming from certain religion or race, nor is it targeting certain religion or race."
The quote is disingenuous--the terrorism threatening the world does come from one religion--extremist Islam. Until the Islamic world acknowledges that fact, no progress will be made.
(2) I will acknowledge progress when a spokesperson for CAIR, or better yet Al Jazeera, states unequivocally that a bomb attack by Palestinians in an Israeli restaurant, bus or disco; and the shooting mruder of two Israeli grandparents returning from a Sabbath visit to their children and grandchildren in Gaza (as happened just this past Saturday night); and the launching of rockets and mortar shells at an Israeli town, such as Sederot (which happens almost daily, including today, is terrorism, not justifiable resistance to occupation. Until that occurs, as far as I am concerned, it's "same old same old."
