Mitt Romney Wins Wyoming Caucuses

Wyoming gives Mitt Romney his first win of the primary season, BillingsGazette.com reports. Romney won 7 delegates, Fred Thompson two and Duncan Hunter one. As of 6:11 p.m. PST, caucuses were still underway to determine the remaining 2 delegates, but Romney is assured of at least a majority of the State's 12 delegates to the Republican Convention.

According to The Green Papers, Romney's win in Wyoming also gives him the current lead in total Republican Convention delegates going into Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, with 17 to Mike Huckabee's 14. Fred Thompson is in third place with 8 delegates, with Ron Paul amazingly just behind him at 4 delegates. Rudy Giuliani and Duncan Hunter each have one delegate.
