John Bolton and Ted Kennedy: Living Parallel Lives?
Read this (tongue in cheek) reminiscence by Clifford May, formerly of the New YorkTimes and now president of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. If yelling at subordinates and others is now going to disqualify people from government service, half of the officials in Washington, D.C. will have to resign. As attractive as that idea may be, it's probably a bit of a stretch. (HT to Power Line.)
"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."
--John Adams, 'Argument in Defense of the Soldiers in the Boston Massacre Trials,' December 1770.
