A Friend of Israel

From Ralph Kostant:

President George W. Bush this evening made a strong declaration of support for Israel against the threat posed by Iran, declaring that the United States would come to Israel’s defense if Israel were attacked by Iran, as reported here in the Jerusalem Post. President Bush described Israel as “a solid ally of the United States.” No friend of Israel could ask for a more forthright declaration of support. Moreover, since this is George W. Bush speaking, one knows he means it.

I can only hope America makes good on its promise to back Israel in a conflict vs. Iran. It undoubtedly will come.

I agree. The americans have been loyal to Israel in the past however it is Bush so its hard to know for sure. It good the Americans are sticking up for their strong ally in the middle east. We see this with Iran, but we can also see this with Hamas in the Palistinian elections. Bush seems to be involved in this issue, but I think thats mainly because of the fact a terrorist organization won a democratic election.(this shoots down his whole strategy that bringing democracy to the middle east will solve the extremtism that exists there.)

I myself have a blog regarding Hamas, check it out!
