Truly Interesting Take on Harriet Miers

Thanks to Hugh Hewitt, here is a (somewhat speculative) analysis of what Bush might have been thinking when he nominated Ms. Miers. It's interesting. I wonder if Karl Rove really thinks things through at this level of detail?

Today on Hugh's show, Fred Barnes pointed out that what these elitists are trying to do is tell people who voted nearly unanimously for Ruth Bader Ginsburg because the President is entitled to nominate who he wants to, that they now should refuse to confirm Harriet Miers because she's not qualified.

The thought makes reason stare.

These people would have denounced Jesus of Nazereth because he was a carpenter, not a lawyer.
