It does not matter how convincingly you relate the history, how much you know, how much the left does not know, Israel will always be seen as the aggressor by the left. It's a matter of religous faith. Israel bad, Jews agressors, Castro is a great leader, Cuba's a democracy, Palestinians are official victims.
Liberalism is a church, like the Catholic Church, only its adherents do not dare disagree.
