The sad thing is that from most press reports (and a lot on-line), you'd think that Romney and McCain were both elbow deep in mudslinging. Here's a NY Times Service piece as picked up by Salt Lake City's Deseret Morning News this morning with the headline "McCain, Romney jab back and forth"
To the extent McCain is hoping to tar Romney, the strategy seems to be working to some degree, but such a Pyrrhic victory for the angry old man!
