Hmmm.  Look at this entry from the Captain' Quarters blog.  Doggone!  The Democrats seem so eager to find scurrilous information about GWB's past, and their frustrations continue.  Kind of remind me of Wile E. Coyote and that elusive Road Runner . . . .

Actually, I harbor no illusions about GWB. What you see as cheerleading is simply my effort to add some reality to the constant stream of vilification that liberal Democrats direct direct at the president. It made me uncomfortable when Republicans went over the top against Clinton, and it's pathetic to watch the Democrats' blind hatred for Bush.


Did he get special treatment? I don't know know, but it would not surprise me. But he did serve, unlike his slick predecessor.

But you and I both know that special treatment is not what interests the Democrats. They are desperate to show that he did not serve, to prove that he was AWOL, or to belittle his service, and so forth. Surely you will admit that.
